View of san gimignano, Siena, Tuscany, Italy.

On a beautiful promenade we will guide you to the hidden corners and unexpected views of this surprising town. Through one of the gates, along the city walls we'll reach the house where Fina dei Ciardi, the local saint, was born. Along narrow streets, vaulted paths, we will meet ancient buildings and little churches, we'll go out of the walls, down to the Medieval fountains, used in the past for washing the wool. Close to the church where Pilgrims were hosted by the Templars and the Knights of Malta we will come back to the town through another gate, and walk up to the fortress Montestaffoli, built by Florentines on 1353. The view of the city and the towers is amazing from up there. We will go down again to Piazza della Cisterna and Piazza Duomo. Climbing the 210 steps of Torre Grossa, 54 Mt of height, is an effort that will be soon rewarded!
Suggested entrances: Torre Grossa and Palazzo del Podestà.
